I visited MoMA about one month ago, so I was surprised when I first saw your photos here .. it was almost as if I'd gone with you! Anyway, that sculpture that looks like a big square pencil .. it's called "the obelisk" and there is another one on the west coast .. at my alma mater, in fact. When I first saw the obelisk at MoMA, I was momentarily transported back to my campus, 3000 miles away.
